Download FastPictureViewer 1.9 build 299

Version 1.9 build 299 of FastPictureViewer has been released. This program is aimed at the digital photographer and can be used to quickly and easily view and rate large amounts of images. There are no options to edit images, but the program does offer support for the raw format of more than 430 different digital cameras. Separate downloads are available for 32bit– and 64bitenvironments, and the program is free for non-commercial use. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following changes and improvements have been made:

• Raw compatibility update (raw codecs 3.5.0.78).

• Fixed a high-DPI screen mode cosmetic bug
• Fixed one tiny memory leak, affecting very long-running slide shows when using the PNG overlay feature
• Other minor fixes

Changes in version 1.9 build 297

• The Black & White preview command (B) is now faster in GPU-accelerated mode as the color conversion now runs on the GPU
• Added Bing Maps and Google reverse geocoders to the IPTC Editor
• The File Utilities Copy Action’s bit-by-bit copy integrity comparison had a flaw when comparing XMP sidecars, which has been fixed.

Changes in version 1.9 build 296

• Fixes a cosmetic bug with the taskbar popup menu (plugins added to the wrong submenu) introduced in build 295.
