Download ExifTool 12.72
Phil Harvey has released version 12.72 of ExifTool. ExifTool is a free and cross-platform program that allows the metadata of a large number of files can be managed and edited. It works from the command line, but there are third party solutions available that allow it to be used with a graphical user interface as well. New versions are released regularly, but most releases are made available under the beta banner. This update is also referred to as a development version; the latest stable release is version 12.70. - Decode timed metadata from Intsa360 Ace Pro MP4 videos
- Decode GPSDateTime milliseconds in timed Insta360 metadata
- Decode timed metadata from INNOV K5 TS videos
- Decode a number of new GoPro timed-metadata tags
- Decode a few new Xiaomi EXIF tags
- Fixed writing of JPG/ARW images from some newer Sony models to preserve HiddenData
