Download ExifTool 10.80
Phil Harvey has released a new stable version of ExifTool. ExifTool is a free and cross-platform program that allows the metadata of a large number of files can be managed and edited. It works from the command line, but there are third-party solutions available that allow it to be used with a graphical user interface as well. The release notes for this release can be found below:
Version 10.80 (production release)
- Added preliminary read/write support for Reconyx UltraFire maker notes
- Added a new Sony/Minolta lens (thanks Jos Roost)
- Decode a new Panasonic Raw tag (thanks LibRaw)
- Extract ImageWidth/Height for main image of HEIC file
- Internal changes:
- Changed TimeNow() make ExifTool object optional
