Download EventID 4226 Patcher 2.12
In Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 SP1, the number of semi-open TCP/IP connections is limited to ten for security reasons. Unfortunately, this cannot be circumvented by changing a key in the registry, but this boundary is in the tcpip.sys file. Our Eastern neighbor LvlLord has now written a program called EventID 4226 Patcher to solve this “problem”. All you need is one of the above operating systems, the patch program in the English or German and a little bit of your time. With the program the maximum number of connections is increased to 50. With the flag /L this number can be adjusted if necessary and in case of error messages later the changes can also be undone. The changelog of the last few versions looks like this:
v2.12
- Feature: It’s now possible to copy back the safety-copy
- Bug: Wrong versioninformations shown on Windows XP prior to SP2
v2.11a
- Feature: It’s now possible to change the limit during runtime
v2.10a
- Feature: Support added for Windows 2003 SP1 beta
- Feature: If no limit is given with the parameter /L, it will be asked for during runtime
- General: Big code change
