Emsisoft has released version 9.0 of Anti-Malware. The name of this program doesn’t quite cover it, because it not only offers protection against malware, it is also a full-fledged antivirus product. That also explains the heavy download of 228MB. One license for Anti-Malware normally costs 40 euros and for a tenner more you get the firewall Online Armor. However, it is temporarily available for ten euros. Below are the major improvements made in this release.

Faster scans with better detection: Our dual-scanner strategy has been tried and tested for many years, and it has successfully won countless comparatives and awards from renowned anti-virus test labs like AV-Comparatives and Virus Bulletin (VB100).
