Emsisoft has released version 12.4 of Anti-Malware and Internet Security. Anti-Malware protects against viruses and malware, while Internet Security also has a firewall on board. A license for Anti-Malware costs four tens and for Internet Security that is five. The programs are suitable for Windows 7 or higher and can be tested for 30 days. After those thirty days, the programs switch to free mode, which can scan and uninstall, but offers no real-time protection. In version 12, the detection of ransomware has been improved, among other things. The following improvements have also been made in this update:

Emsisoft Anti-Malware & Emsisoft Internet Security 2017.4:

• Included an option to start a scheduled scan when inserting a USB drive.
• Fixed occasional bug that would prevent Windows 10 from shutting down properly and resolved sporadic issues with user profiles.

Emsisoft Enterprise Console 2017.4:

• Added ability for system administrators to view local changes made to the client settings, and reset them to policy defaults if necessary.
• Improved proxy server support when Emsisoft Anti-Malware is deployed via Emsisoft Enterprise Console.
• When client licenses are about to expire, the system administrator will now receive email notifications. This feature can be adjusted in the Settings.
