Download DVDFab 8.1.2.5

Version 8.1.2.5 of DVDFab has been released. DVDFab consists of several parts that can be used to rip, copy and convert movies from DVD or Blu-ray into a format that can be played on a portable device such as the PSP or the iPod, for example. The program can make a complete copy, but it is also possible to choose individual parts, for example only the main movie with a limited number of languages ​​and subtitles.

The different parts of the program each have a own license† Those who do not need the Blu-ray functionality or who do not own a portable player do not have to pay for this functionality. Only the part to rip a disc, which can remove protection and region code at the same time, is still free. The following changes have been made in this release:

DVDFab 8.1.2.5 Qt Updated!

• New: Updated language files.
• New: Added “3D Format” and “to TS” in “DVD Ripper”, “Blu-ray Ripper”, “Blu-ray 3D Ripper” and “Video Converter” options.
• New: Show newly created device in left navigation bar automatically, which works with new Profile Editor.

DVD Copy:

• New: Added support for a new copy protection as found on “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” (US).
• New: Added support for a new copy protection as found on “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” (Germany).
• Note: HD Decrypter version doesn’t support them for now.
• Fix: Layer break position is not written when using Clone mode.

Blu-ray Copy:

• New: Added support for latest BD+ protection as found on “Star Wars”.

Blu-ray 3D Ripper:

• Fix: A freeze problem at 71% when converting “3-D Sex and Zen Extreme Ecstasy”.
• Fix: A crash problem when canceling conversion in certain cases.
