The day before yesterday, version 3.0.1 of the DVD catalog program DVD Profiler was released. Originally this program was released by Intervocative Software, but its creator Ken Cole started his own business. DVD Profiler distinguishes itself from similar programs in that it does not use online movie databases, such as IMDb.com, but a database that is maintained by the users of this program. The unregistered version has only a few limitations until more than fifty titles are added to the database, after which the functionality is drastically cut off. Users of version 2 can request a license for version 3 for free. It is also worth mentioning that there is now a version especially for portable devices running Windows Mobile.
