Download Drupal 8.2.1

Version 8.2.1 of Drupal has been released. Drupal is a PHP-written, user-friendly and powerful content management platform, with which, for example, websites can be created. New in version 8.2 is, among other things, that blocks for text or media can be placed on pages without having to go to another administration page first. Furthermore, support for time periods has been added, where previously only a specific time could be used. This initial update for version 8.2.0 includes two critical security vulnerabilities.

This release only contains bug fixes, along with documentation and testing improvements. It fixes the following two critical issues in 8.2.0:

• #2811519 by tim.plunkett, dbourrion, cilefen, futurmat: Blocks do not appear after being placed with the Rules module enabled (or other missing schemata for Condition plugins)
• #2811927 by timmillwood, alexpott: Disabling Content moderation on a bundle, removes the ability to perform create content on that bundle
