The developers behind Drupal have released the final release of version 7.0. Drupal is a user-friendly and powerful content management platform written in PHP, with which, for example, websites can be created. In version 7.0 we find, among other things, a renewed interface, which should be simpler and more intuitive. In addition, additional fields can now be added to content, users, terms and more, such as URLs, images and lists of options. An automatic test has also been added to the framework to detect bugs in the code. Finally, the database layer has been completely rewritten, which solves many limitations of the database layer in Drupal 6.
