Download Drupal 6.1

Drupal is a versatile content management system that works on a large number of platforms. The program can be done through modules be provided with additional functionality and by using themes can another layout be attached to the cms. For example, it is possible to maintain a news site, forum and/or a collaboration site with Drupal. The developers have released a new version in the 6.x branch that closes a security vulnerability and fixes a number of minor bugs. The version number arrived at 6.1 and featured the following announcement:

Drupal 6.1, a maintenance release that fixes problems reported using the bug tracking system, as well as security vulnerabilities is now available for download. The security issues identified were in code new to Drupal 6, and are therefore not applicable to sites running on Drupal 5.

In addition to this security vulnerability, the following bugs have been fixed since the 6.0 release:

• #227548 by Heine, AjK: misuse of db_escape_string(), when db_escape_table() should have been used
