Dropbox is an online storage service that makes it possible to synchronize files between different computers. In addition, files and photo albums can be shared with people who don’t have Dropbox accounts. Clients are available for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Mobile.

A free account gives access to 2GB of storage and for ten or twenty dollars a month that is 50 and 100GB respectively. A new stable build has recently become available, which makes it possible, among other things, to place photos from cameras, telephones and memory cards in the cloud. In addition, a collective assignment can be created with which various files can be uploaded or downloaded.
