After a long time a new version of Driver Sweeper has been released. On the one hand this was because the author says he didn’t have much time to work on the program, on the other hand because there were some problems with Guru3D, where the program was previously hosted. Driver Sweeper is a tool for cleaning up old drivers. When installing new drivers, it is usually advisable to remove the old versions first, but an uninstall does not always remove all files of the old driver. Using Driver Sweeper after uninstalling the old driver and restarting the computer not only removes residual files, but also cleans the registry, driver cache, and driver.cab. The changelog for version 1.5 looks like this:

• Redone GUI.
• You can now check after cleaning if an entry has been removed or not without opening Logs. If a checkbox is checked the entry is removed.
