Download Dr. DivX 2.0.1 beta 4

The developers of DivX Labs have released a new beta version of Dr. DivX made available. The program can encode different video images with the DivX codec, which – in its own words – will reduce the file size and the quality will be visibly the same. dr. DivX has been available under the lgpl license for some time now and can run on various platforms such as Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. However, the current beta versions only work on the Windows platform. The developers have released the fourth beta version of Dr. DivX 2.0.1 released with the following announcement:

Thanks to d00kl1, the Dr. has been updated to work with DivX 6.6 codec. Get the installers from the download page. The search for community developers to contribute to Dr. DivX has not ended. If you are interested, please contact d00kl1 to join the dr. DivX Developers group.
