Download DOSBox 0.57

Who doesn’t know them, the real-mode DOS games of yesteryear. Maybe the name DOS4GW means something to you. Unfortunately, these games can no longer be played (properly) under WIndows and Linux. There is a solution for this, DOSbox. A DOS emulator for both Windows if Linux that promises to play real mode games. A new version of this emulator has been released. A changelog could not be found on the site. On Sourceforge it was proclaimed as follows:

A Christmas release!
This is a development snapshot of dosbox. It is not the version which can run all real mode games.
This version can run many more games and has a better timing algorithm and a faster graphics core.
