Softland has released doPDF version 7.3. This program installs as a printer driver and makes it possible to easily create PDF documents from any program with a print function. The software is free for private and commercial use, does not require Ghostscript to do its job, and does not add any watermark or advertisement. Only in the screen for choosing the location to which the PDF document should be written, there is an entry to novaPDF. This is a similar program from the same makers, with more extensive options, but it is not free. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

New:

• Multiple copies of the same page/document can now be converted to a single PDF file (with or without Collate)
• doPDF can now be installed using parameters from a single setup configuration file (instead of using the parameters one by one)

Update:

• After installation is successful, you have the option to open the website for tutorials, documentation and other resources
• Optimized conversion when using Unicode fonts (ie documents in Tamil language are now accurately converted)

Fix:

• Corrected language selection depending on regional settings
