Softland has released doPDF version 7.1 build 340. This program installs as a printer driver and makes it possible to easily create PDF documents from any program with a print function. The software is free for private and commercial use, does not require Ghostscript to do its job, and does not add any watermark or advertisement. Only in the screen for choosing the location to which the PDF document should be written, there is an entry to novaPDF. This is a similar program with more extensive options from the same makers, but it is not free. This release fixes the following three issues:

Fixed in doPDF 7.1 build 340:

• Do not hang when printing Word documents with embedded files
• The installation failed on some Windows XP systems when listing printer ports (on EnumPorts)
• Setup translations correction
