Download doPDF 6.2 build 299

Softland released doPDF 6.2 build 299 on Thursday. This software installs as a printer driver and makes it possible to easily create PDF documents from any program. The software is free for private and commercial use, does not require Ghostscript to do its job, and does not add any watermark or advertisement. Only in the screen where the location has to be chosen where the PDF document is to be saved is a reference to novaPDF, a similar program with more extensive options from the same creators, but it is not free. In addition to some bug fixes, we find support for Windows 7 in this release:

• When printing from Adobe Reader some characters were not converted correctly (music notes)
• Corrected crash occurring when showing error message box on PDF save
• Corrected some client hangs when printing particular Excel files
