Download DisplayFusion 3.1.5

Binary Fortress Software has released a new version of DisplayFusion. With the help of this program it is possible to manage a multimonitor setup. For example, a separate wallpaper can be set per screen and programs can be opened on a specific screen. Photos can also be flickr and VladStudio be placed or retrieved from those sites and used directly as wallpaper on the desktop. Changes in version 3.1.5:

Changed:

• Added a “Middle-clicking a taskbar item opens a new application instance” setting for the multi-monitor taskbars (same feature as in Windows 7)
• Added a “Wallpaper Settings” button to the main Wallpaper window, for easier access to the global wallpaper settings
• Taskbar thumbnail previews now use the Windows 7 style slide/morph effect, instead of fading in/out (affects all versions of Windows)
• Taskbar now supports Aero rendering in Windows Vista
• Languages ​​are now loaded when selected, not while DisplayFusion is loaded (this should help any translators who want to make changes without closing DisplayFusion – just select a different language then select yours again)

Fixed:

• Taskbars are no longer hidden by the “Aero Peek” feature in Windows 7
• Taskbars now load even when standard Windows (Segoe, Arial… etc) fonts are corrupt
• Taskbar thumbnail previews are no longer transparent where they shouldn’t be
• Taskbar thumbnail previews now look correct when Windows font scaling is used
• Taskbar thumbnail preview tooltips no longer show double ampersands incorrectly (&&)
• Taskbar compatibility improvements: Visual Basic 6, ImgBurn, NewsLeecher, LexisNexis NoteMap, NuSphere PhpED, WinSCP
• TitleBar Button compatibility improvements: Skype, iTunes, Google Chrome, VMware Player, Console windows, PuTTY
• Mouse Hook compatibility improvements: SRWare Iron
• HotKeys and TitleBar Buttons can now position console-style windows correctly (command prompt, Putty… etc)
• Better DisplayFusion taskbar compatibility with Delphi applications
• If you assign all HotKeys to TitleBar Buttons, it now shows the correct warning when trying to add another TitleBar Button
• The TitleBar Buttons feature now correctly detects the background/foreground images in Windows 7 and Windows Vista “classic/standard” mode
• Taskbar thumbnail preview tooltip no longer covers the first taskbar items when the taskbar is vertical
• Failed wallpaper updates don’t show duplicate tray notifications anymore (results in less duplicate tray notifications)
• Middle-clicking the desktop in Windows 7 no longer causes the desktop icons to temporarily disappear
• Tab order and keyboard shortcut issues in a few places
• Tooltips in the Wallpaper window no longer flicker
• Taskbars will start-up correctly when a full-screen application is detected (previously it would wait until the full-screen application was closed or no longer full-screen)
• Blank gray window that appears and covers other windows should no longer appear

Changes in version 3.1.4:

• Windows 7 taskbar item color is now correct in non-Aero mode
• Window movement is now correct when a docked window is present (like Pidgin, or the Google Desktop Toolbar)

• Added “Use transitions when changing wallpaper (Windows 7 only)” setting
• Manually applying a wallpaper eliminates the 45 second start-up delay
• Checks for an existing running copy of DisplayFusion more gracefully now (less pop-ups)
