Download DirSync Pro 1.53

Version 1.53 of DirSync Pro has been released. One or more folders can be synchronized with this open source program, for example a computer with a smartphone or USB memory stick. This can be both uni- and bi-directional. The program is written in Java and therefore platform independent. Downloads are available for DOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows, among others. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Added:

• Support for UTF-8 encoding when writing the logs.
• Filter by Date can now be configured to filter only files, only directories or both.

Fixed:

• Issue when some include filters didn’t work in combination with ‘*’ include filter for directories.
• Issue with the wild card in the log filenames.

• The Java wrapper for windows will prefer the 64-bit version of JRE if available.
• The enabled tabs in the filter dialog have now a green ball icon which help OSX users to distinguish them.

• Default window size for the filter dialog is optimized.
• Check for update is made ready to use HTTPS.
• Redirected some occasional stack trace print out (in case of an error) to the log files instead of the standard output.
