Illustrate released release 14 of dBpowerAMP Music Converter on Wednesday. This audio editing program can rip audio CDs and convert music files to and from mp3, mp4, m4a, wma, Ogg Vorbis, aac, Monkey’s Audio, flac, alac, among others, while preserving mp3 tags. Furthermore, the MP3 tags can be customized and the program can be fully integrated into Windows Explorer, making it easy to invoke. The basic version, for ripping CDs and converting files, is free. In front of additional functionality must be paid. In release 14 we find AccurateRip version 2, it is easier to add album art and the program can now control up to 16 processor cores.

• Unlimited PerfectMeta: We have heard that people love the idea behind PerfectMeta in CD Ripper: using multiple top-rate-commercial providers to cross-check and remove spelling mistakes / missing discs. What they did not love was the yearly renewal for metadata access, we listened and R14 has a perpetual access – no renewals!
• PerfectMeta also features SontaDB, a classical specific database with extended fields just for classical (Composer, Conductor, Period, Instrument, Soloists, etc).
