Download Damn Small Linux 3.0.1
Damn Small Linux is a bootable Linux live CD based on the Linux distributions of Knoppix and Debian. The operating system is being developed with the intention of making available a compact distribution that is smaller than fifty megabytes. DSL comes with a large number programs including a media player, word processor, web server software and various internet applications. The developers have released version 3.0.1 with the following announcement:
Version 3.0.1:
The only difference with this release and 3.0 is that unionfs is an option, and not set by default. We are currently working on the incompatibility of our Firefox build with unionfs.
Version 3.0:
We have lots of new under the hood goodness in this release including the very cool sshfs and the new UNC extension which takes full advantage of unionfs to minimize system requirements.
