Download DameWare NT Utilities 5.1.1.8

DameWare Development has updated DameWare NT Utilities to version 5.1.1.8. These programs, which in addition to a very comprehensive Active Directory Object Browser also include the DameWare Mini Remote Control and DameWare Exporter programs, allow remote management and administration of Windows NT, 2000, XP and Server 2003 servers, workstations and networks. The software can be fully tested for 30 days before it has to be purchased. The changelog of the three separate programs shows the following changes:

Changes in DameWare NT Utilities application

• Changed text “non-browsable” to “Favorites” in Information Pane. Fixed.
• Minor enhancements to GUI interface.
• Internal enhancements to RDP implementation.

Changes in DameWare Mini Remote Control application

• No protocol revision. Will not require upgrade to Client Agent on remote machine if Client Agent is 5.0 or above. But we recommend that you upgrade the Client Agent on the remote machine as well. **(Can easily be done via new “File / Update Client Agent” menu option)
• Improved Global Group membership logic as well as diagnostic errors written to DWMRCS Event Log entries when Global Group access fails.
• SysTray icon for MRC Client Agent may not show if Desktop user does a Logoff and then Logon again. Fixed (requires v5.1.1.8 or higher of Client Agent on remote machine)
• When shrinking the size of the Remote Connect dialog, the Status Bar could be hidden behind the objects in the GUI. Status Bar will always be on top now. Fixed.
• Minor enhancements to GUI interface.
• Internal enhancements to RDP implementation.

LadyWare Exporter

• Minor enhancements to GUI interface.
