Disc-soft has released version 4.45.3 of Daemon Tools Lite. With this program it is possible to mount image files from CDs or DVDs as a virtual drive. Creating different virtual drives eliminates the need to keep changing CDs or DVDs. Moreover, in this way there is less trouble from background noise and data is generally faster accessible. The program is available in the flavors Lite, Pro Standard and Pro Advanced; the mutual differences and the prices are on this page to find. Since version 4.30.0, the sponsor ad module is no longer in the installation file, but clicking through too quickly will still modify the home page and default search engine in the web browser and provide it with a Daemon Tools toolbar.
