A new CoreTemp release candidate has appeared. This small, free program can identify and monitor your computer’s processor. Core Temp, for example, shows the temperature and working pressure of the individual cores. on this page a list of all supported processors can be found. The collected information is written into a log, so that it can later be converted into a graph, for example in Excel. It is also possible to control the processor via an Android or Windows Phone app keep an eye on. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

New:

  • Added support for AMD Kabini, Mullins, Carrizo, Kaveri and Godavari APUs.
  • Added support for Haswell-EP CPUs.

Fixed:

  • Update notification popup now identifies it as being Core Temp.
  • Core Temp crash on update check.
  • Core Temp window invisible due to being out of desktop bounds.
  • Haswell Crystal Well frequency and TDP were missing.
  • AMD Kaveri/Godavari CPUs were stuck at 16C/61F.
  • Incorrect VID reported for newer AMD FX processors.
  • AMD Trinity temperature was reported too high.
  • When ‘Display distance to TjMax’ option is enabled, no indication string appears on AMD CPUs. Enabling the option above will result in the same temperature readings as in AMD Overdrive.
