Download CoreTemp 0.99.7.3
CoreTemp received an update to version 0.99.7.3 on Monday. This small free program can identify and monitor the computer’s processor. CoreTemp is able to display the temperature of the individual cores, which not many other programs can. At the moment, only the more modern processors supported, including the Phenom, the Athlon64 and the Turion64 from AMD, and the Core and the Core 2 from Intel. The collected information is written into a log, so that it can be graphed later, for example in Excel. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:
New:
- “Start Core Temp with Windows” feature on Windows Vista and 7.
Fixed:
- Taking a screenshot would not capture the whole window in Vista/7 with aero mode.
- Windows 7 taskbar Cycle mode only shows up after the first interval has elapsed.
- Overheating protection UI bug.
- The Mini-mode menu was not checked when Mini-mode was activated.
- Corrected the placement and size of the load label on Phenom based processors.
- Order of appearance of the system tray icons in Windows 7.
Updated:
- The appropriate G15 menu is now checked depending on the status of the G15 plug-in.
- Added support for 12 core processors to temperature offset adjustment window.
