VSO Software has released a new beta release of ConvertXtoDVD. With this program, movie files in DivX, XviD, mov, vob, mpeg, mpeg4, avi and wmv, wmv3 and hdtv format, among others, can be converted to the DVD format, so that the footage can be a stand-alone DVD player. The main innovation in this release is support for Windows Vista. Because it must be able to run there under a so-called limited user account, quite a lot has changed internally in the program. This means, among other things, that all settings and the registration key must be entered again. The full changelog for this release is as follows:
