Download Comodo Internet Security 8.1.0.4426

Comodo has released version 8.1 of its security programs. The line-up includes a firewall, an anti-virus program, and a combination of the two. Comodo is available for Windows XP, Vista, and 7 and 8, and a download suitable for both 32bit and 64bit editions of these operating systems. If you don’t choose ‘customize’ during installation, you also get Comodo’s own web browser and GeekBuddy, a paid service that offers remote computer help. In version 8.1, the Comodo Dragon web browser has been replaced by Chromodo, among other things, and PDF readers are now also opened in the protected sandbox environment.

sandbox:

• Addition of PDF readers to Sandbox rules via File Group.

Default Settings:

• Detect Potentially Unwanted Applications is enabled on default settings.

Fixed:

• CMC server issues.
• Sandbox cannot detect files from restricted sites
• Some https links via chromium are blocked even they are not in block rule.
• Enabling Enhanced Protection Mode resets Microsoft Office to Classic theme
