Bo Nobo gave us a tip about Elaborate Bytes, because another day has passed, and so it was time for a new CloneCD. I can type a whole story now, but tomorrow there will be another update, so I’ll stick to the release notes :

New features:

• Added support for Ricoh CD-Writer / DVD-ROM 9120 including support for “Just Link” (a feature similar to “Burn Proof”)

Compatibility fixes and improvements:

• Hardware requirements updated.

Bug fixes:

• Fixed Access Violation at address10000005 in module ELBYCDIO.DLL Read of Address FFFFFFFF when the CeQuadrat CD-ROM Simulator was installed. This problem was introduced in CloneCD 2.8.1.1
• Fixed a bug introduced in CloneCD 2.5.6.2: Reading of Subchannel Data didn’t work correctly, if more than 1 track of the same kind was read by a drive which needs special handling for Subchannels (eg, TEAC 532E, 532E-A, 532 EB, 532S and all devices reading only 16 bytes subchannel data)
