Let’s Encrypt is an initiative to give as many sites as possible https support by providing free ssl certificates and making implementation easier. However, most of the tools for this are only available from the command line. Certify SSL Manager provides a graphical interface for requesting and managing these certificates on Windows Servers running IIS. The developers have released version 4.0.8 with the following improvements:

Version 4.0.8:

• Improve UI behavior and avoid exceptions when IIS is not installed

Version 4.0.7:

• Fix account change after registering new contact

Version 4.0.6:

• Ensure current account key in use after version upgrades
• Fix possible service exceptions/service stopping while querying cert bindings during cert cleanup.
• Logging improvements and add additional logging for exceptions.
