Showshock Softnology has released yet another beta build of Central Brain Identifier. This program is designed to identify the exact model and type of processor of an Amd equipped computer. CBId recognizes a wide variety of models and displays detailed information such as core name, revision and voltage, frequency, rating, cache size, and PowerNow technology used. In addition, it is also able to perform some tweaks regarding, for example, the L1 cache, the Clock Control Register, the memory timings and there is also the possibility to adjust the HyperTransport clock frequency. This release again adds the necessary entries to the list of recognized processors:

Central Brain Identifier 8.2.1.0 is ready to be used! The new version mainly brings support for the AMD Opteron NPT Family F processors based on new silicon revision F3. Also, we have added identification of AMD Opteron processors with the following OPN numbers: OSX1220IAA6CS, OSA290FAA6CB, OSA890FAA6CC.[break]
