Today the seventh beta build of Central Brain Identifier version 8.2 was released. If your computer is equipped with an AMD beating heart, this program can tell you exactly which model it is. CBId recognizes over 70 different models and displays detailed information such as core name, revision and voltage, frequency, rating, cache and PowerNow technology. In addition, it is also able to perform some tweaks regarding, for example, the L1 cache, the Clock Control Register, the memory timings and there is also the possibility to adjust the HyperTransport clock frequency. Released the Central Brain Identifier 8.20 version R7! Now the program reports the processor’s third level cache characteristics, including cache size, cache associativity, cache lines per way, number of cache lines. This new feature is available only for the AMD processors with Revision G and higher.[break]
