A new version of Central Brain Identifier can be downloaded from the Amd club website since yesterday. It concerns version 7.6.0.1 Build 0806 R2 and the download can here are being found. CBId recognizes over fifty models of AMD processors and provides detailed information such as core name, revision and voltage, frequency, rating, cache and PowerNow technology. In addition, it is also able to perform some tweaks with regard to, for example, the L1 cache and the Clock Control Register. The new version is well-suited for the nForce series chipsets. Due to additional powerful subtab called ‘nForce’ you can now easily get access to the hidden DRAM parameters and tune them as you wish! Now it’s possible to set a tCL timing independently for any bank, to control DIMM refresh and precharge timings, to change various command delays. Besides, the new tab displays an additional information regarding all DIMM banks installed on the motherboard. So, as you see, there is no any other tool to give so much freedom in tuning your favorite nVidia chipset! CBId takes a leadership role in tuning nForce and nForce2 chipsets! What else is new? Well, fixed bugs and added improvements in tCL, tWTR and tRTW timing control for the nForce series chipsets. Moreover, CBId now is the first tool that is capable to recognize the newest SE class of the Dual Core AMD Opteron processor.
