Download Caliber 2.42

Version 2.42 of Caliber has been released. Caliber is an open source and cross platform ebook management program. Among other things, it can look up all relevant information and cover images, and convert e-books to make them suitable for the various types of e-readers. Furthermore, the program can convert newspapers, magazines and news articles based on RSS feeds into e-book format. Books can also be purchased with Caliber at the well-known web stores. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

New Features

• Driver for the new Nook Glowlight Plus. This device only allows sending of files inside the NOOK folder, so caliber now follows that limitation.
• When converting AZW4 files to PDF, skip the conversion and simply unwrap the PDF file already embedded inside the AZW4 file.
• Metadata download review dialog: Add an option to mark rejected books in the main book list after the review is completed. Close tickets: 1507198
• Edit Book: Spell check dialog: Add a button to undo the last spelling change

Bug Fixes

• Edit metadata dialog: When downloading metadata with download of authors turned off, do not regenerate the author sort field after the download. Close tickets: 1510335
• Fix a regression that broke the heuristic used to detect cover images in some EPUB files that do not specify their cover metadata. Close tickets: 1509642
• Edit Book File List: Fix pre-selection of filename when renaming a file in the root
• Tag mapper: Fix bug when replacement tag has comma in it and the replacement rule is not the last rule
