Download BWMeter 4.2.1

DeskSoft released version 4.2.1 of BWMeter yesterday. With this program the data traffic to and from the computer or on the network can be monitored. Not special in itself, but BWMeter can also analyze the data packets. This way it can see where they come from, where they are going and which protocol is being used. Furthermore, the program can distinguish between local and internet traffic and it is possible to use filters to, for example, monitor or limit data traffic to and from certain internet pages. Below you can find everything that has changed in the program since the previous entry in the Meuktracker:

Changes in version 4.2.1:

• New: support for SSL in email notifications (eg for gmail)
• Fix: various small internal improvements and bug fixes

Changes in version 4.2.0:

• Fix: graphs now follow screen resolution changes (can be deactivated in window menu)
