Burnaware Technologies has released a new version of its CD and DVD burning program of the same name with 2.2.1 as the version number. Burnaware is available in three flavors namely Free, Home and Professional. Free can be used without license costs, but does have some limits. Home is intended for home use and can perform almost all functions and finally the Professional version can control multiple burners and may be used in a commercial environment. The corresponding list of changes looks like this:

Version 2.2.1:

• Added Hebrew translation.
• Fixed the access violation error in Copy CD/DVD compilation.
• Fixed the bug with skipping system or read-only files and folders.
• cosmetic fixes.

Version 2.2.0:

• New features:
  • create boot CDs/DVDs with BurnAware Free
  • save/load file list of Data and ISO compilations
  • save/load preferences of ISO, Copy and Multiburn tools
  • additional ASPI driver which is used if drives can not be detected
• Increased the read speed while copying CD or DVD.
• Added Hungarian translation.
• Modified user interface.
• Minor improvements and bug fixes.
