Download BSPlayer 2.16 build 945

Version 2.16 build 945 of BSPlayer has just been released. BSplayer is a multimedia player that can play various formats of audio and video. It has been one of the most popular media players for a long time, until the free version came with SaveNow adware. There is no point in removing the adware because it will then refuse to play any content. And that is quite a problem, because most virus scanners ring all kinds of alarm bells when the free version is installed. The Pro version of course does not have this problem and also has some extra options, including the possibility to record video and an extensive equalizer. All this and one year right to download updates makes the wallet about thirty euros lighter. The changelog for this release shows the following changes:

BS.Player 2.16 release features:

• Added basic support for EVR (Enhanced Video Renderer) available on Windows Vista operating system
• other modifications for increased compatibility with Microsoft Vista operating system
• Added options to set alpha blending for main and video window (works on Windows 2000+, but is only fully supported in Windows Vista operating system)
• Playlist and Media library can now be skinned (sample skin can be found here)
• Multi-part movies will be now automatically added to playlist, also when second (third…) part of the movie is opened (for example: Movie.CD2.avi -> Movie.CD3.avi…)
• some other minor changes and bug fixes
