Version 2.60 of BS.Player has been released. BS.Player is a multimedia player that can play various audio and video formats. The program is available in two versions: Free and Pro. Previously there was also a Pro Lite version, but it doesn’t seem to exist anymore. The Pro version costs 30 euros and can of course Lake, such as recording video and streaming video in higher quality. This version also offers an extensive equalizer.
BS.Player was one of the most popular media players for a long time, but after the freeware version came with adware, it quickly came to an end. As of version 2.30, the SaveNow adware module has been replaced by a optional toolbar. In addition to a search function, this also offers the possibility to control the player. New in this release is better support for Unicode filenames and improvements have been made to the mouse and full screen mode. The full changelog looks like this:
Added:
- SDK: added BSP_OpenFileW, BSP_GetFileNameW for unicode filenames
- In full screen mode mouse pointer is now less sensitive to mouse movement, it won’t be displayed on very small moves
- Also added option in Preferences to never show mouse pointer while in full screen mode
Fixed:
- Subtitles wasn’t cleared in some cases, fixed
- Some other subtitles fixes, also you should use new subtitle parser/renderer
- OSD info was broken with new OSD renderer, fixed
- When adding files to playlist short name was used instead unicode, fixed
