Download BS.Player 2.20 build 949

On their own forum, the developers of BSPlayer have released a new version of the media player in the form of 2.20 build 949 announced. However, the download page offers a newer build, which is build 949 of the same 2.20 release. BSplayer can not only play all kinds of common formats, but also display subtitles, take screenshots of a movie and change the playback speed. Furthermore, with the help of skins, the appearance of the program can be changed. The program is released in two versions. the first the Pro variant for which 9.90 euros must be deposited and can, among other things, record video and run sound through an extensive equalizer. The second variant can be used for free, but it is loaded with adware from WhenU, called SaveNow. The changes of version 2.20 build 949 have not (yet) been announced, but the developers have documented the changes from the previous release:

• Subtitles are now supported in DVD mode also (any subtitle can be loaded to currently opened DVD, the same way you can load subtitle with to normal video file)
• Added new subtitle modules for VMR7, VMR9 and EVR video renderer
• Subtitle and OSD fonts are now automatically resized accordingly with playback resolution
• Skins are now stored in user home folder on Vista operating system to prevent possible access rights conflicts.
• When starting playback of previously played DVD, the user will have the option to continue playback from the last viewed time or from beginning of the DVD
• Addressed Vista compatibility fixes
• Some other changes and bug fixes
