Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing is a distributed computing platform available for Linux, Mac OS X, Unix, and Windows. A number of projects use this platform, such as SETI@home, rosetta@home, Leiden Classical and Hydrogen@Home. For more information about the how and what of Boinc, we refer to this page. The developers have released a new version for the different platforms, with version number 6.10.60. The list of changes since the previous entry in the Meuktracker looks like this:

• Fix: Project list issue in the attach wizard that lead to a crash (Linux)
• Fix: Screensaver coordinator issue when shutting down the screensaver. (win)

• New: Enable the ability to automatically join teams from installer scripts (Win, Mac)
• Fix: Elasped time tracking issue
• Fix: Fix crash condition that would happen if drivers for ATI/Nvidia were installed incorrectly or clashed with other drivers in the system. (win)
• Fix: Cleanup accessibility items (Mac)
• Fix: Display both OS version and kernel version on startup (Mac)
