In the submit, Ragger left the following mess about BBClonea web counter written in PHP that registers who came to your site and when: “BBClone finally got an update again. A new developer, Christoph, picked up where it left off at the end of 2005 and released version 0.4. 9. This time it is a fairly small update, aimed at adding important novelties such as Windows Vista, but also all kinds of rare ‘mobile browsers’ and rarities such as ‘Opera on Wii’ have been added. We can expect major changes in the short term. the entire code will be overhauled and data storage will finally take place in a MySQL database.BBClone’s strongest point is its beautiful interface that provides a clear insight into a website’s visitors.Very many user agents are successfully recognized: practically all existing browsers, operating systems and bots are displayed, often with a matching icon.”

BBClone got a minor update, 0.4.9. It is mainly adding user agents (robots, browsers, etc.) but also features minor additions:

• add many robots and many browser and some OS
• add most of the mobile browsers out there
• add some rare user agents like the PSP
• add favorite weekend mod from the forums (it colors the weekend days different)
• add regression suite to evaluate correctness of expressions (currently not linked somewhere, open show_regression.php to run it)
• add color in detailed stats for access of the local ip address to spot yourself in the log
• Updated ip2ext database
