Download Bazaar Version Control 1.0
Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, among others, has released version 1.0 of the version control system Bazaar. With the help of this tool changes in files, for example the source code of software, can be tracked. Unlike traditional vcs, Bazaar is decentralized, meaning that each user can run their own experimental branches, which should make adding new features and collaborating with other developers a lot easier.
The Bazaar, written entirely in the Python programming language, has been in the works since early 2005. The release notes are too long to post on this page and so refer let’s go to the News page on the Bazaar site. An overview of the downloads for the supported platforms is on the download page to find.
