Softland has released version 5.4 of Backup4all. This program can back up to another location on the hard drive, a network drive, an FTP server with support for SSL encryption, proxy servers and passive mode, a CD or DVD, or an external drive such as a USB stick. Through plugins the files of over a hundred specific applications can also be backed up. The software is available in Lite, Standard and Professional flavors, with prices ranging from twenty to fifty dollars. The mutual differences are shown on this page extensively explained.
