Grisoft is the maker of various products that offer protection against viruses, spam and spy, ad and malware for both Windows and Linux. Some of these products, such as the antivirus program AVG Anti-Virus, also have a free version available. It offers the same protection against viruses as its paid big brother, but has to do without protection against spam and spyware. Another limitation is that the program is only available in English and may not be used in commercial environments. Previously, the free version could not be used in 64bit environments, but this limitation seems to have been removed in version 7.5.463. The full changelog for this release is as follows:
