Download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 2012.1913

AVG Technologies has released an update for version 2012 of AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. This free version of AVG’s antivirus protects just as well against viruses, but has to do without social network protection compared to its paid brother, AVG Anti-Virus Pro, among other things. set and receives its updates with a lower priority. In addition, it should of course not be used in commercial environments. In version 2012.1913, support for Mozilla Firefox 10.0 has been added and some issues have been fixed.

Fixes & improvements

• SafeSearch: SearchShield updated for FireFox 10.
• SafeSurf: Fixed issue with SafeSurf crash.
• Setup: Fixed issue with misleadingly displayed warning on “Firefox not being supported”.
• Update: Fixed problem with upgrade from AVG 2011 to AVG 2012.
