Download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 2012.1808

AVG Technologies has released an update for version 2012 of AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. This free version of AVG’s antivirus protects just as well against viruses, but has to do without social network protection compared to its paid brother, AVG Anti-Virus Pro, among other things. set and receives its updates with a lower priority. In addition, it should of course not be used in commercial environments. In version 2012.1808 the following changes and improvements have been made:

Fixes & improvements

• Identity Protection: Fixed issue with possible occasional crash of another application.
• LinkScanner: LinkScanner now supports also Firefox 7.
• Online Shield: Fixed issues with loading of web pages added in Online Shield’s list of excluded URLs.
• Setup: When it impossible to procced with AVG setup due to previous driver unistallation, a dialog offering restart appears.
• Toolbar: Implemented support for Firefox 7.
• User Interface: Fixed issue with user interface crash.
