Download Avast Antivirus 7.0.1442 Beta

Alwil Software is developing a new build of Avast Antivirus 7.0 and has now released a beta release. The program is available in the free Avast Free Antivirus and the paid Avast Pro Antivirus versions. In addition, there is Avast Internet Security, which includes a firewall and anti-spam as extras. This successor includes improvements to the autosandbox module, the Remote Assistance and SafeZone. Furthermore, WebRep, which indicates the reputation of a website, is now also available for Opera and support for Windows 8 has been further improved. The full changelog looks like this:

• Improvements in Remote Assistance (support for UAC prompts etc)

Known issues:

• Auto sandbox still not completely finished
• Outlook plugin is not running correctly when you have more than 1 active account
• Windows 8 compatibility still experimental
• Problems with sandboxing of IE8 on Windows 7
