Download Avast Antivirus 7.0.1414 R2 Beta

Version 7.0 of Avast Antivirus has only just been released and Alwil Software is already developing a successor. The program is available in the free Avast Free Antivirus and the paid Avast Pro Antivirus versions. In addition, there is Avast Internet Security, which includes a firewall and anti-spam as extras. In version 7.0 we see, among other things, a refreshed appearance and a new installer. Version 6.0 introduced a browser plug-in called WebRep that can indicate a website’s reputation, and version 7 has something similar for files. In this successor, or revision 2 as Alwil Software calls it, the following improvements are made:

Fixed issues (from 7.0.1407)

• Auto sandbox BSODs
• Too much activity of File System Shield
• UI crashes
• Show Installation Completed window just once
• Problem with not running Mail shield
• Incorrect marking emails as a SPAM
• Slowdown of system after fresh installation
• UPDATE: Improved stability of Outlook plugins
• UPDATE: Improved localizations
• And some security & user improvements
