Download Avast Antivirus 6.0.1352 Beta

Alwil Software will soon release a new version of its antivirus program Avast and it can already be tested as beta. Avast is available in the free Free Antivirus version and the paid Pro Antivirus version. In addition, there is Avast Internet Security, which includes a firewall and anti-spam as extras. In the new release we don’t see any major changes, but mainly minor improvements and some bug fixes.

here’s an [incomplete] list of the most important changes:

• Script Shield now works with Google Chrome, all versions of Firefox and Acrobat Reader
• Improvements in WebRep plugins (especially IE)
• Stability improvements in aswSP.sys and the avast! sandbox
• File system shield: improved on-close scanning
• avast! Internet Security: new anti-spam engine
• Web Shield and Script Shield: more options in the UI
