Avast Software has released an update for version 2016 of its security program Avast. This program is available in the free Free Antivirus, and the paid Pro Antivirus and Internet Security versions. In addition, there is Premier, which has additional management functions, such as the possibility to remotely take over a PC and possibly erase the hard disk. In version 2016, the program has been given a new look, it can also act as a password vault and is able to check more routers for unsafe settings. Furthermore, a separate web browser is included that can be used for banking and shopping. The following improvements have also been made in this update:
